NBTA Europe has lots of planned activities for the network's members. Here's a summary of the different plans we have.

• NBTA European Education & Training

  The network's goal is to raise the level of education and training throughout Europe for travel and meeting professionals. In addition to this the network has an objective to create a standard and recognised designation for training throughout Europe and beyond.

• NBTA Europe Conference

  Europe deserves an innovative and buyer-focused travel and meetings conference. NBTA Europe plans to deliver that in the autumn of 2010. The conference will take the form of two back-to-back events across a two to three day period.

• NBTA Europe Virtual Forums

  NBTA Europe plans to hold a series of four, quarterly seminars with up to 50 buyer delegates from Europe and the US participating through high-end VC technology from four global locations.

• NBTA Europe ICARUS

  Established by ITM in 2006, Project ICARUS has fast become the conduit for knowledge and debate around Corporate Social responsibility (CSR) issues in the corporate travel and meetings industry.

• NBTA Europe Benchmarking

  Building on the success of the NBTA benchmarking services in the US, and the work of the NBTA Foundation, NBTA Europe will be creating benchmarking tool to allow buyers to gauge the procurement and management success of their programmes against peer organisations.

• NBTA Europe Member Network

  Organisation members often cite "networking" as one of the biggest benefits of belonging to an industry association.
